I have been involved with racquet sports for over 30 years and am excited about the opportunity to launch this new product and company; Racketdragon. I began playing tennis with my father at the age of 12. After moves to Arkansas and Germany my dad took me to the tennis, racquetball, and squash courts to teach me the variety of those fast paced sports including the agony of defeat while our family moved around for the Air Force. He taught me how to play and compete. After learning and competing for a few years, I have had the privilege of passing on the game of tennis to thousands of young people including my younger brother who went on to play in 3 straight state tournaments in Texas along with 35 other high schoolers where 16 state titles were won. I have always taught or coached something but I officially began my tennis pro career at a Country Club as an assistant pro. After a few lessons I was hooked for life. Teaching tennis to kids and adults is like not working at all plus the fun of working outside was just too hard to give up. Four years later, I became a Head Pro of a municipal tennis center where we helped develop several state champions and highly ranked junior players. Then a chance to coach basketball came along so I loaded up the truck, with the help of my older brother and moved to the Austin area where I was also able to teach both racquetball and tennis at a nearby center while coaching tennis and basketball for an inner city school. It was during the transition of leaving education then gaining my realtor license that afforded me the opportunity to invent the DragOn using an old Wilson T2000 racquet cover and a small Wag a Bag. I enjoy teaching tennis very much and I deeply believe in the DragOn and the modern technology it brings to racquet sports training. It is a game changer for those who use one. I use a DragOn every day in some capacity. With mine I do more hitting against the wall and I also use the DragOn for improving my racquet head speed on the first and second serve. The DragOn is a great teaching aid to sound stroke production for tennis players of all levels. I hope you too will enjoy your experience with the DragOn. Thank you for choosing Racketdragon.
